Reminder that registration for the 2013-2014 school year will be on June 18 and 19. Registration will be at the high school commons for ALL schools. Packets will be mailed the first week of June.

This year was Riverview's Third Annual Talent Show that was held on May 14.  We had approximately twenty different performances. The performances included Singing Groups, Solo Singing, Comedy/Variety Acts, Dance Routines, and Musical Instruments. Please go to our Riverview Pictures-Talent Show to see pictures from the performances and who won what category.  

In April, several Riverview students participate in a speech competition at Hononegah high school. Everyone did a wonderful job representing our school. Below are the results for the competition. 

The following students received a trophy from second grade: Karl; from third grade: Savannah, Lilly, Hannah L., and Hannah R.; from fourth grade: Alivia and Krissy.

Congratulations to all finalist for the 2013 Spelling Bee. Everyone did a wonderful job! The Spelling Bee was coordinated by Mrs. Quies.

Mr. Burghardt and Mrs. Johnson were the judges. Mr. Burghardt would say the word with a sentence, and then the word again. The contestant would need to repeat the word and spell it correctly to continue on with the Spelling Bee.

On May 3, Riverview students had the opportunity to meet Mr. Provance with the high school chorus and band. While they did their performance, Mr. Provance told the students that they will be able to join the band starting in fifth grade. Thanks for a great performance! 

The Riverview staff and students would like thank Mr. Steve Lennon for being our principal since February 26. Everyone has enjoyed getting to know you. The students will miss playing tag with you at recess time. Thanks!
