A little background information. This is my 15th year at South Beloit CUSD #320. From 1998-2001 I was the Executive Secretary for Mr. Duffy (former Superintendent) until I transferred to Accounting/Payroll Office in 2001. In 2003 the Board approved adding a part-time employee to help handle the Payroll. Since that time, that position evolved into a full-time Payroll/Benefits position (Bridgette Swanson). In 2000 I also added the position of part-time Technology Coordinator and in 2001 I started writing and working on grants for the District. I have a total of 26 years of accounting/payroll experience in an educational setting. Four years at the University of South Florida, seven years at the Belvidere School District and starting year fifteen at South Beloit. I have been married for 25 years and I have two daughters. They are ages 18 and 15. My girls keep me very busy outside of work. Both are honor students and involved in school sports and club sports and recently my eldest headed off to college. My husband is in his 21st year as a teacher/coach at Roscoe Middle School. |
