Renaissance Awards

The South Beloit High School Renaissance Program recognizes students for academic achievement and good attendance. The program is built to empower students and educators to work together to encourage and celebrate the achievements of students. The program recognizes students in the following ways:

· Weekly attendance awards - one student's name is randomly selected from the entire student body. If that student has been present and has no tardies for the previous 5 school days they win $10. If the student has been absent or tardy the money carries over to the next week.

· Go to the Head of the Line Coupons - five students' names are selected randomly each Monday. If the student has no Fs he/she receives a coupon to go to the head of the lunch line for the entire week.

· Student of the Month Parking - one student's name is randomly selected from the list of students with parking permits. If the student selected has had no referrals in the previous month, they are allowed to park in the reserved spot in front of the school for the entire month.

· Conference Attendance Reward - any student attending conferences with their parents are entered into a drawing. The winner of the drawing receives $25.
